Are you eligible?

The examination has been designed keeping in mind the different requirements of students with respect to their knowledge of IP. 

Interested candidates who meet the criteria can appear for the examination:

School Students belonging to grades IX to XII of any stream can appear for IPTSE. Students are required to validate their identity before taking the examination.
Undergraduate students – Technical and non-technical streams are eligible for this exam:

• Engineering and Technology
• Law
• Design/Fashion Design/Media/ Multi-media
• Researchers

All students must validate their identity to be eligible.

The IPR examination
procedure in India

is easier than you think!

The process of applying for the IPR examination is simple and user-friendly. The Intellectual Property rights exam registration page has two different sections: one for individuals and another section for institutions. All you need to do is follow the below steps:

STUDENTS

Step 1

Click ‘Register Now’

Step 2

Fill in your details (name, school, email id, etc.)

Step 3

The system will navigate to the payment page

Step 4

Once the payment is made, a unique user id and password will be generated

Step 5

After successful log in, individuals can access the course content, exam duration, dates and other details of the IP Olympiad. With this, the IPR Examination Procedure in India will be complete

Step 2

Complete the form with all relevant institution and faculty details

Step 3

After the form submission is complete, ASSOCHAM will reach out to the institution for the registration fee. With this, the Intellectual Property Examination process will be complete

*A minimum of 50 registrations are mandatory from each institution registering for IPTSE

Prior to students’ registration, the school is required to register with IPTSE, according to the examination process. This is to ensure ease of registration in case of a large number of students from a particular institution.

University students can register directly on the website.

METHODOLOGY

Students Level Awards

Selection Criteria
The winner will be selected based on the following criteria-

National Level

  1. The duration of time spent on examination.
  2. The duration of time spent on each question.
  3. The number of questions attempted on the basis of difficulty level.
  4. Score Obtained in the Examination.
  5. The winner will be selected from Top 50 Rank holders, who will be interviewed by the Jury.


Regional Level

  1. As above from the National Level.
  2. A minimum of 500 students must be registered in each region, for that region to have a “regional rank holder”.
