The intellectual property examination has been designed keeping in mind the different requirements of students and professionals with respect to their knowledge of IP. Interested candidates who meet all the IPR eligibility criteria can appear for the examination.

Below is the Intellectual property examination eligibility criteria:
School students belonging to grades IX, X, XI & XII in Science, Commerce, Arts or any other stream can appear for IPTSE. Students are required to validate their identity before taking the examination
Undergraduate students studying BA, BCOM, BSc, Polytechnic or any other course also meet the Intellectual Property examination eligibility criteria. All students must validate their identity to be eligible
Law students with IPR can take the IPTSE examination to increase their knowledge in Intellectual Property
Law students without IPR also meet the IPR eligibility. As they can encounter cases of duplication or infringement in future, taking this exam is definitely to their advantage
Design students and professionals are eligible to take the IPR Olympiad
xAd agency/mass communication professionals are also eligible to apply for the exam. They can utilise their IPR knowledge to understand the role of Intellectual Property in the field of media

The process of applying for the IPR examination is simple and user-friendly. The Intellectual Property rights exam registration page has two different sections: one for individuals and another section for institutions. All you need to do is follow the below steps:

Step 1

Click ‘Register Now’

Step 2

Fill in your details (name, school, email id, etc.)

Step 3

The system will navigate to the payment page

Step 4

Once the payment is made, a unique user id and password will be generated

Step 5

After successful log in, individuals can access the course content, exam duration, dates and other details of the IP Olympiad. With this, the IPR Examination Procedure in India will be complete

Click ‘Register Now’

Step 2

Download the format of student’s intellectual property rights examination registration, provided in an excel sheet and upload the same after filling up the required details of participating students

Step 3

Pay the registration fee. The system will automatically generate user ids and passwords and send them to the registered email ids. Schools can check the progress by logging into the portal

Step 4

When students log-in for the first time, they have to change the current password and choose a new password. The students will have to log-in through their unique username and new password and fill in the required information

Step 5

After successful log-in, students can access the portal and use it for course content, exam duration, dates and other details of the IP Olympiad. With this, the Intellectual Property Examination process will be complete

SCHOOLS, COLLEGES & UNIVERSITIES

As per the intellectual property examination process, schools are required to register themselves before students from that school can register for the exam. Students from colleges can register directly on the website.

Pay only a nominal amount!

You will be able to access the exam course material for IPTSE once you’ve made the payment. Eligible individuals have to pay Rs 250 + GST
