Terms and conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your use of the e-learning platform (“Platform”) provided by [IPETHICON] (“Provider”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, you must not use the Platform.
User Accounts
1.1 Registration: In order to access certain features of the Platform, you may be required to create a user account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during the registration process.
1.2 Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify the Provider immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
1.3 Account Usage: Your account is for personal use only, and you must not share your account credentials with others. You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account.
Platform Usage
2.1 Content: The Platform provides access to educational content, including but not limited to courses, videos, documents, and assessments (“Content”). The Content is provided for informational and educational purposes only and should not be considered as professional advice.In issue of unable to use the platform or access to the course material because of technical issues the
registrant should inform the Provider within 7 days of registration, failing which the Provider shall not be held responsible.
2.2 Intellectual Property: All intellectual property rights in the Platform and the Content, including copyrights, trademarks, and other proprietary rights, belong to Provider or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the Content without explicit permission from the Provider.
2.3 Prohibited Activities: You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful or unauthorized purposes, including but not limited to:
a) Uploading or transmitting any content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others.
b) Interfering with or disrupting the Platform’s operation or servers. c) Engaging in any fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive behavior.
d) Harassing, threatening, or harming other users of the Platform.
Payments and Refunds
3.1 Fees: Certain features or Content on the Platform may require payment of fees. By choosing to access such features or Content, you agree to pay the applicable fees as specified by Provider.
3.2 Payment Processing: Provider may use third-party payment processors to facilitate transactions. Any payment information you provide is subject to the terms and conditions of the payment processor.
3.3 Refunds: Refund policies, if applicable, will be clearly stated on the Platform. Refunds, if granted, will be at the sole discretion of the Provider.
Disclaimer of Warranties
4.1 Platform Availability: Provider does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform or its features. The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, or other reasons beyond Provider’s control.
4.2 Content Accuracy: Provider strives to provide accurate and up-to-date Content, but makes no warranties or representations regarding its accuracy, completeness, or reliability. The use of the Content is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
5.1 Indirect Damages: In no event shall Provider be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform or the Content.
5.2 Maximum Liability: Provider’s total liability for any claims arising under this Agreement shall not exceed the fees paid by you, if any, for the use of the Platform within the six months preceding the claim.
Modification and Termination
6.1 Modification: Provider reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform or this Agreement at any time, with or without notice. It is your responsibility to review this Agreement periodically for changes.
6.2 Termination: Provider may terminate your access to the Platform for violation of this Agreement or any other reason deemed appropriate by Provider.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
7.1 Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Delhi, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
7.2 Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delhi.
General Provisions
8.1 Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Provider regarding the Platform and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
8.2 Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
8.3 Waiver: The failure of the Provider to enforce any right or provision of this Agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
