Mr Aman Sinha has a techno-legal background; he has been skilled as an engineer majoring in Information Technology and then qualified to be a lawyer specialising in Intellectual Property laws. He attained his LL.B. from the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. After that, Mr Sinha served Bosch India as an Intellectual Property Counsel for over three years. He has advised the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell as an IP Expert in their efforts to expand the benefits introduced in the Patent Amendment Rules. He holds the unique distinction of being shortlisted by the WIPO Secretariat to deliver an Intervention titled “Turbocharging the IP System to keep pace with the data-driven world” in the WIPO Conversation on IP & Frontier Technologies in September 2021. After his successful corporate stint, he was selected as the first Law Researcher for the Intellectual Property Division of the Delhi High Court. He is a staunch advocate for Continuing Legal Education and has completed the CopyrightX certification from Harvard Law School and a Summer School on US IP Laws from George Mason University. He regularly delivers invited lectures to expand IP Awareness in India and is also part of the FICCI Forum for IP Professionals.
